Ps. With regards the Hitler comment - was watching something on tv the other day (forgotten what now!) but it was made in 70s/80s and there was a comment almost identical “he I causing more damage than Hitler ever did” ... funny enough nobody did or would complain !

If he was TRUE West Ham he would never have allowed the lies from Sullivan and Brady to cut the heart out of the club by going from a globally appreciated football stadium to that Athletics ground.

My position on this has changed overnight from a surprising source ... after a discussion with my non football fan (but business brain) wife!
Whilst this stuff is bad PR for the fans and I do still feel that Gold is a different animal to Sullivan (and confirmed to me by an ex player neighbour), this thing about his age is a smokescreen. My wife’s immediate response was “then he shouldn’t be running a business then!”. I am sure the likes of Jim White will defend him again but if he starts using his age as defence then time to move on and sell.

Why should he be immune from criticism? No one was violent towards him, they just told him a few home truths. He’s forever antagonising fans with his hand picked twitter retweets and ridiculous comments, so he should expect a reaction in return. He’s just as culpable as the other 2 tossers, and personally I’m glad they are beginning to feel the wrath. Getting out his car in the middle of the road isn’t brave, it’s fucking stupid and sums the bloke up.

Just seen the vid and I'm thinking the same. Why would Gold get out his Roller when there was no traffic and could have just carried on? None of the 'fans' went that close to him and the abuse wasn't even that bad. Gold appeared to have a little smirk on his face and he said 'I'm 82'' why say that? If 82 is too old for it all then why get out the car? You really wouldn't put it past this pack of cunts.
